drink drank drunk?

it was Ivan’s turn to his head shaven. yes in fact his getting enlisted to SAF this coming Thursday.  so how to go around it better by drinking and get wasted one last time before he serve the country. had loads of work to catch up on Friday because i took leave the previous day. and trust me, there’s lots of work to be done. so i finished quite late but took a cab down to hmv for the dinner at waraku pasta. it was bad. after dinner i went to flash&splash to buy a tshirt, basically cause i was wearing long sleeves and white was really appropriate to go zouk.  after getting stamped and all, sammie said there’s this shop at holiday inn that’s selling chivas/vodka cheap, as in really cheap. $40-$42 per bottle. REALLLLLLLY cheap. we went to get 4 bottles and head behind zouk to drink away. and we managed to finish all 4 bottles i suppose.

drinking drink drinking. we played all sorts of drinking game. and i think i lost a couple of times. haha. and i must admit, i’m a BAD drinker.

baby had to come ’sub’ me after sometime. it’s a good thing she didn’t ‘toh’ as well.

all in all i think everyone had a great time. and ivan gonna definitely remember this. :)

sad european night!

Yup my favourite just lost their first away european game. Well, i couldn’t catch it on tv because starhub lost the rights to air it. and no way am i going to subscribe to $minded singtel. their mioTV services is lousy, with limited channels. so far in the sports group they’re only showcasing the italian league(which is slow paced and boring) and the champions league. Honestly Liverpool isn’t doing well without Xabi Alonso. his killer passes and vision are sorely missed by the team. Nobody is feeding Torres like before. Even the hat-trick scored by torres duing the 6-1 trashing against Hull City, was because of his pace and solo skills. i really miss those thru passes and long passes that showcase Torres speed and ability to control the ball.

finally the end of the month, which means payday. will be spending it tomorrow. why? going to tanah merah ferry terminal with shaun, ivan, nigel and alston on the casino boat. no idea if joyce would be going. it cost $42 per entry but if you change SGD$300 to casino chips, they would refund you back SGD$40 therefore making the entry only SGD$2. definitely hope i could make something out of the trip, because back in 2007, i lost quite a bit in genting.

my grandma is in mt elizabeth hospital. went to visit her yesterday, she looked very pale. i really hope she gets well soon. i think the atmosphere in the hospital room was very lively. everyone was there, except the younger kids. she must have been happy to see us all here.

starting afresh.

normally after serving 2 full years of national service, one would take a short rest or break.  i couldn’t really afford the break as i need to earn moolah for my taiwan trip. it’s pretty tiring. from toa payoh to boon lay isn’t a joke. i used to be late for work when i was working at city hall. now i understand the importance of waking up early especially when your working venue is much further. and yes, overtime is required everyday.

okay, now that i have settled and cleared things from my past, i would blog again actively. i have decided to take this opportunity to re-construct the fundamentals of this website. instead of being just a blog, i would also showcase my previous works or rather, my portfolio.
